Biography

Mrs. Annette Wong  is a highly respected physiotherapist with over three decades of professional experience in rehabilitation and healthcare. She graduated from the Hong Kong Government School of Physiotherapy in 1973 and furthered her professional training at the Physiotherapy Department of Dalhousie University, Canada, in 1975. Throughout her distinguished career, she obtained registration as a physiotherapist in Hong Kong, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

In 1982, she co-founded the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Centre, where she served patients with dedication and compassion until her retirement in 2007. Her commitment to improving the quality of life of others has extended far beyond her professional practice.

Following retirement, Mrs. Annette Wong devoted herself to humanitarian and volunteer service. In 2007, she volunteered at Mother Teresa’s Kalighat Home for the Dying in Kolkata, India, providing care and support to some of the most vulnerable members of society.

From 2008 to 2013, she participated in rehabilitation services at the Hong Kong Red Cross Rehabilitation and Prosthetic & Orthotic Centre in Deyang, Sichuan, supporting survivors of the Wenchuan Earthquake through rehabilitation and recovery programmes.

She also served on the committee of the Torch Project of the Hong Kong Christian Council from 2009 to 2013. Through this initiative, she helped provide educational support and opportunities for university students from rural regions across China, including Nanjing, Kunming, Fuzhou, and Shaoguan.

Her lifelong dedication to healthcare, community service, and humanitarian outreach reflects the values at the heart of Divine Bliss Foundation. As a Director, she brings a wealth of professional expertise, compassion, and a deep commitment to empowering individuals and communities in need.
